Current Food Favorites

Bought these chocolates to pamper myself after a round of courses, and it is now one of my favorites! Super soft and delicious.


And this is a really good and filling breakfast: country walnut bread + slivers of radish (lightly boiled) + peanut butter + warm water w lemon juice. I was full for at least 4 hours after that!


Lastly, have been making this spinach salad for a few times now, and it’s a favorite since it is so healthy yet delicious…an awesome way to get my dear husband to eat more greens.

Plus, I love the juicy punch that the Mandarin oranges give.


Recipe (especially for you, mummywords!)

1 pound fresh spinach (i’m very flexible with this; dependent on how much veg Bren is in the mood for)

2 tbsps lemon juice

1/4 cup olive oil

1 avocado, diced (i use avocado spread if i run out of avocados)

1/4 cup chopped walnuts, roasted till golden

2 Mandarin oranges

1. Wash and trim spinach; pat dry with paper towels.

2. Combine lemon juice and oil in bowl, add avocado cubes, coating well with dressing.

3. Toss spinach and walnuts with avocado and dressing.

4. Add Mandarin oranges and toss spinach salad again.

Easy, healthy and yummy!
