“Oh boy, what a lovely…lovely day it has been. Just ended e night w dinner, songs, dancing, kids playing under e table, tons of good conversations (Americans really know how to share a story!), n lots of love all around.
Halfway through dinner, I was just looking around n soaking in e laughter n love tt was being shared through mere acquaintances n felt really so blessed n special, tt I started to tear.. It’s amazing tt they speak positively & encouragingly, n they do it all e time w such nonchalance n humility, it’s just downright charming. I honestly wish we’d more of such back home. Oh well, Bren says we’ll bring a piece of tt beauty back w us.
Dinner aside, we’d an interesting morning after breakfast, when one of e husbands offered to drive us around, along w another young American guy who just arrived yesterday. So all 4 of us went exploring, sampling wine, n coming back to homemade lunch. We’ve definitely been pampering our tummies quite a bit. “
“N in e afternoon, we did e cooking class! Gosh, kneading dough takes strength n skill. Bren surprised me w how much he enjoyed it. So much so tt he suggested we shd try cooking together again when we’re back!”
“Good, fond memories… “
