Polling Day moments

There can be such intensity in our political opinions and the harder we push, the more tendency there is to be divisions.

Yesterday was one of those days, whereby I desperately needed glimpses of God’s grace. Looking at social media posts, engaging in unexpected conversations with family and friends…these just reinforced what I already know deep down – all of us are so much in need of Jesus. Including yours truly.

We all need His grace, discernment, wisdom and love. We need Him to heal our pain, our hurts, and to take away our baggages.

Unless we are made whole by Him, hurting people will always hurt people.

So instead of being bewildered by the extremities experienced yesterday, I’m going to choose to focus on the moments of grace instead.

Grace shown through fun times with Kaeson, who is growing up so fast…

Grace experienced through a spontaneous tea-time with parents @ Fosters:

Grace shown through a surprise birthday celebration for Bren’s buddy at his housewarming dinner gathering last night, where we watched the election results together till midnight.

Proverbs 4:23

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Have a blessed, grace-filled weekend everyone!
